Creative Safety Initiatives (CSI) is an ACT based organisation committed to a continuing focus on improving safety standards in the building and construction industry. Through training and industry consultation CSI hopes to reduce the number, and the severity, of accidents in the workplace.
Creative Safety Initiatives offers a large range of courses to its clients including:
- Occupational Health and Safety Training
- Drug and Alcohol Awareness
- Asbestos Training
- OHS Auditor Training Course
- Manual Handling
- Height Safety Training
- Sun Safety & Nutritional Awareness
CSI aims to accommodate the busy schedules of the building and construction industry through flexible training delivery modes. Most training can be conducted at your workplace and at a time that is suitable for your organisation.
CSI offers their clients a number of community and welfare services including counselling, social skills training and trauma response. In partnership with numerous specialised entities within the ACT - CSI also provides access to drug & alcohol rehabilitative services. The use of drug and alcohol in the building and construction industry is traditionally a serious problem in regards to worker safety- by addressing this issue directly with workers CSI expects to have continuing success in reducing accident risk and severity.
Creative Safety Initiatives represents a group of dedicated individuals who are committed to creating safe work environments and safe communities for workers. Through the provision of educational sessions and rehabilitative services CSI aims to encourage harm reduction and attitudinal change in regards to safety in the workplace.
